Tuffy Center Console

Everyone has heard of Tuffy.  They have been in business for years.  But did you know how the company got started?  The founder was a Jeep owner and one day when he went to his Jeep, it had been broken into and all of his valuables that were in the Jeep were stolen.  All that was left of his stereo and sound system were the wires hanging from the dash.  He decided then and there to make it to where he would not get anything else stolen from his Jeep.  When he manufactured his first security console, he decided to share it with the public.  Tuffy was born.

JK Consoles

There are many consoles in this category.  You have the JK 2011 + Security Console Insert, JK 2011 + Security Rear Half Console, JK Flip-N-Lock Stereo Cover and Tray, JK Security Console Insert, JK Security Full Console and finally the JK Single Compartment Overhead Console.  Each of these was designed with the discerning Jeep owner in mind.  They will fit perfectly in your Jeep without being ostentatious and give you the added security that every needs.

Overhead Consoles

One of the JK consoles fits into this category.  It is the JK Single Compartment Overhead Console.  Others in this category include the Overhead Security Console, 2 Compartment; and the Single Compartment Overhead Console.  These have the added benefit of not taking up any of the much needed space in your Jeep. 

TJ Consoles

Like the JK Console category, this one also has many options.  You can choose from the TJ Security Console Insert, TJ Series II Full Security Console, TJ Series II Rear Half security Console, TJ Speaker Full Security Console, TJ Speaker Rear Half security Console, TJ Stereo & Speaker Full Security Console and the TJ Stereo Full Security Console.  Like all of the others, these offer you security without being obvious about it.

Tuffy Security Deck

If you have ever had a vehicle broken into then you know just how the founder of Tuffy felt.  You feel violated.  Your stuff is gone and some of may have been irreplaceable.  You may even feel like it isn’t safe to keep ANYTHING in your vehicle anymore.  When the founder of Tuffy’s Jeep was broken into he decided that he wasn’t going to put up with these feelings of insecurity anymore.  He developed a line of security products for Jeeps and when you install these in your vehicle you can feel safe again too.  They have an impressive line of security products but for now we will concentrate on the Tuffy Security Deck.

Tuffy 2011 + JK Security Deck Enclosure

This product is moderately priced at around $470.  That being said, can you really put a price on security?  Anyway, it works together with the rear door and lock and is a large storage area that is completely enclosed on all sides.  The top and the front of the box are removable for those times when you need the extra space.  It is easily installed and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.

Tuffy JK Security Deck Enclosure

This is a versatile piece as it can be used in conjunction with either hard or soft top JKs.  It is a large storage box with a hinged lid to ensure easy access when you open the rear door.  It creates a shelf for the extra things you might need to carry.  When you shut and lock your rear door, the box is inaccessible.  There are organization trays included with this enclosure and the whole thing can be installed whether or not you have the OEM subwoofer.  You can use this with either the OEM storage cover or the Tuffy Cubby Cover and all of the mounting hardware that you need is included.

Tuffy TJ LJ & YJ Security Deck Enclosure

This deck enclosure has many of the same features as the one above.  Mounting is incredibly simple as it mounts directly into the factory holes.  All mounting hardware is included.  It also has two side organizational trays and there is an option for a diamond plate rubber mat.  This box includes weather seals.  Also all of the trays have holes in them for drainage.  If you need to remove the front and lid of the box, you do not need tools to do so. 

Tuffy Security Products

Tuffy security products have been produced for years.  It all began when the founder went to his Jeep one day only to find that everything he had in it (including his stereo) had been stolen.  He decided then and there that he was not going to be a victim a second time and so he started Tuffy Security Products.  They make all sorts of security devices that can be installed in your Jeep. 

Replacement Locks and Keys

For those times when you have lost your keys or someone has a copy of your key and you no longer feel safe, Tuffy offers a line of replacement locks and keys.  These range from combination cam locks to replacement barrels with or without keys.  You also have the option to key all of your security products alike so that you only have to carry one key instead of having 10 lbs. of keys on your key ring.
